Welcome to the 2007 Season!
Rick's interest in cars began at an early age. He was raised in and around the family owned business of John's Used Cars & Wreckers. With his love for cars and the need for speed it was inevitable that Rick would wind up behind the wheel of a racecar.
Rick started racing at Redwood Acres in the Mini Stock Class in 1991. He raced for that season and then moved on to SCCA events. Rick and his new team returned to racing at Redwood Acres in 2001 at the mid season point. Although they got off to a late start, they finished in 13th place out of a field of 32 cars. For the 2002 season they set out to rank in the top five never losing sight of their main goal, to win the 2002 Real Stock Championship which they accomplished by more than 100 points.
With the dedication, experience and expertise of the entire crew and Rick's talent in the car and on the track a winning combination has been formed. At the end of 2002 Rick purchased a 1999 Monte Carlo with a Five Star Body and a Baxter Chassis. Their goal for 2003 is to finish in the top five of every race while continuously striving for the opportunity to win the Sportsman Championship. They are looking forward to another successful season.
